Some notes for the ride:

• If you like Aerosmith but without going upside down, the yeti as it goes backwards, and the mystery of Space Mountain you will like this ride.

• If you have issues with motion sickness I would think twice about riding but the main part that may make you feel dizzy is the point right after the backwards launch. One of the folks behind us mentioned they close their eyes for a little and were good.

• If you are plus size like me this ride is super friendly and if you are over 5’8” you will still be roomy and comfortable.

Our group got the song “Everybody wants to rule the World” by Tears of Fear and I think it went great with the ride. Honestly, especially the first time you are having so much fun that you don't even notice the song. There is a story playing out in front of you, there's some non screen items you go around and through, plus your moving around that I for example yelling in excitment the first time.

When you come out of the tunnel, it spins you out of the tunnel so fast that its so much fun. This is the point where Disney's photopass service takes your photo. It turned around so quickly that my hair splapped me but you can stil see the joy.

Jumped to the ride but really the queue is the star of this ride. There are nods throughout about the past, present, and future whcih is really some of the fundamental about EPCOT and learning. The Galxaium has a planeterium style and feel the moment you walk in and its designed that for the most part you are going around that part of the queue with a look at it.it is also how they have the riders go up over part of the ride to them come back later after the 2 pre shows to the ride loading area.

After the Galaium you go through exhibits of Zandar where you learn about the people in case you havent watched the movies. There are models of the spaceships used and what zandar hopes to accomplish through meeting us EPCOTIANS.

You will also see some interviews with the guardians, with Gamora and Star Lord in one interview and then Drax and Rocket in another interview. At this point the line was moving and overall it wasnt really stopping until after the second show area. The show areas are led by Terry Crews and Glen Closes characters and the guardians make some appearances throughout the second show.

When you arrive at the loading area you get an aerial view of both sides then you arrive to a point where you choose left or right side, which there is not too much of a different. After that you are seated in the roomist seats of any ride I have gone on so far. No pinched knees like the dwarfs ride, no being on top of people like rise to the resistance or rataouille.
