Mickey Ears on Display

I have been trying to figure out how to display my favorite collection of wearable art. I saw some folks used molding or a frame to define the Mickey headband ears. I wanted something different and then started looking at shadow boxes. So after the measuring the ears, I came across some shadow boxes at Michael's the problem was that they all opened from the back. The depth inside had to be at least 2 inches for the majority of the ears.

Then on Amazon, I found a shadow box that opens from the front and met the dimensions needed of 11 by 11, as well as the color I wanted, which was white. They have other colors available but I wanted a crisp look and one i didn't have to paint. The link is below:

I had a large wall so I made 3 rows of 7 shadow boxes and put my more popular ears within them. You can see the video I made to show off my display on my instagram page, and this is the link Instagram Shadow Box Display Video .

There are some ears that are irregularly shaped such as the malificent ears on this page, a safari hat with Mickey ears, and a ratatouille chef hat. I have those along with the old cap style hats in a box as it would be too many to display.
